Weighed in!


I weighed in yesterday morning. Since one of my goals for the sabbatical is to lose some weight, I needed to get a pre-sabbatical benchmark. I now have that benchmark--but I'm not telling. I'll keep you posted on the weight loss over the next few months. Keep me in your prayers. It will be a challenge. Thanks.

  1. Hey David, can appreciate your not telling (neither would I) but if you can share how much you want to lose, and then post your progress accordingly of that amount, then it will be easier for us to be holding you to account and to encourage you!!

  3. I can understand not wanting to tell what your weight is, especially if it was much higher than you expected. I was surprised that when I weighed myself back in February that I was almost 256 pounds. Since then I have lost 28 pounds with another 50 or so to go. For me the Zone approach has worked well. I started out with The Formula then discovered the Formula Zone website where one can make their own zone recipes.

    As for exercise, I really like this guys approach. Check out the videos he has posted first as they are basically what he has on the DVD he sells. Also check out Body Weight Culture for some advice and exercises that don't require exercise equipment. Youtube has a bunch of stuff as well.

    I hope you have a great sabbatical. I know it is something I would not mind having.
